Compliance Officer
As Compliance Officer, you will play an important role in helping us keep our homes and communities safe. Working closely with the Asset Compliance Manager (ACM) you will support the delivery of fire, asbestos, water and wider compliance activities across our assets. This includes supporting the implementation of Watmos’ compliance and safety framework, while ensuring accurate, high-quality information is maintained in relation to regulatory, legislative, and non-statutory requirements governing landlord compliance activities. You will assist with the management of building safety policies, processes and contracts including assisting the ACM with auditing work for internal staff, contractors and suppliers to ensure all works are completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of fire, asbestos, water and wider compliance activities across our assets.
- Support the implementation of Watmos’ compliance and safety framework.
- Ensure accurate, high-quality information is maintained in relation to regulatory, legislative, and non-statutory requirements governing landlord compliance activities.
- Assist with the management of building safety policies, processes, and contracts.
- Assist the ACM with auditing work for internal staff, contractors, and suppliers.

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and health and safety requirements.
- Clear understanding of the factors that drive effective compliance.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholders confidently.
- Deliver high-quality, customer-focused services.
- Strong IT proficiency.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Confidence and credibility to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
