The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Financial Promotions Compliance Specialist to join our Regulatory Compliance Team at Staysure Group on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong second-line compliance experience who can hit the ground running, providing expert advice, challenge and approval across a wide range of marketing and financial promotional materials.
Working closely with our Marketing, Partnerships and wider Compliance teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring our financial promotions meet regulatory requirements while supporting the business to deliver campaigns at pace.
With multiple brands, distribution channels and well-known partners, including Staysure, Avanti, Petgevity and PayingTooMuch, you'll have the opportunity to work across a varied and fast-moving environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Reviewing and approving financial promotions across multiple brands, products and distribution channels.
- Providing second-line compliance advice, guidance and challenge to Marketing and Partnerships teams.
- Reviewing a broad range of promotional materials, including TV, radio, print, websites, paid advertising, social media, emails and customer communications.
- Ensuring promotional content complies with relevant FCA regulations, advertising standards, internal policies and Consumer Duty requirements.
- Supporting the review of financial promotions relating to our appointed representatives and commercial partners.
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve compliance concerns and ensure promotions are clear, fair and not misleading.
- Delivering timely approvals to support campaign launches and business deadlines.
- Working alongside the wider Regulatory Compliance Team on projects and initiatives where required.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has hands-on experience reviewing and signing off financial promotions and is confident working independently from day one.
You'll ideally bring:
- Several years experience in a second-line compliance role within financial services, ideally insurance.
- Significant practical experience reviewing and approving financial promotions.
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements, particularly Consumer Duty, ICOBS and relevant advertising standards.
- A good understanding of marketing compliance, including data protection and PECR requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify regulatory risks.
- Confidence in challenging, influencing and advising stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements clearly and practically.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver approvals within tight deadlines.
