Senior Compliance Officer – Investment Management
We are partnering with a leading global alternative investment manager looking to add an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to its London team.
This is a broad, hands-on compliance role offering significant exposure across trading, regulatory and general investment management compliance within a sophisticated global platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee transaction reporting processes, including exception review and remediation
- Manage shareholder and regulatory disclosure requirements
- Support day-to-day trading and investment compliance matters
- Assist with the firm’s compliance monitoring programme
- Maintain and enhance compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct compliance testing, thematic reviews and employee training
- Support surveillance across best execution, market abuse and related trading activity
- Provide broader regulatory and general compliance support across the business
- Partner with colleagues across multiple international offices

Ideal Background
- 6–8+ years of compliance experience within a hedge fund, asset manager or broader investment management environment
- Strong knowledge of UK and European regulatory requirements
- Experience with MiFID transaction reporting and shareholder disclosures
- Understanding of trading surveillance and market conduct requirements
- Exposure to multiple asset classes, ideally including equities, fixed income and derivatives
- Strong generalist compliance background with the ability to operate independently
- Commercial, collaborative and comfortable working closely with investment professionals and senior leadership
