Compliance Officer
At Globe Locums, compliance is at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our dedicated team and play a key role in ensuring healthcare professionals are safely and compliantly placed across the NHS and private healthcare sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare compliance professional who enjoys audits, problem-solving, process improvement, and working collaboratively across teams to deliver exceptional standards.
What you'll be doing:
As a Compliance Officer, you'll be responsible for managing candidate onboarding, maintaining audit-ready compliance records, supporting framework audits, and helping drive continuous improvements across our compliance function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end compliance and onboarding process for healthcare professionals
- Reviewing and verifying documentation including Right to Work, DBS, references, registration checks, occupational health records, training certificates, and insurance documentation
- Ensuring all candidates meet NHS framework and private healthcare compliance standards before deployment
- Supporting internal and external audits, including CCS, HTE and private client requirements
- Conducting quality assurance checks and maintaining accurate compliance records and reporting
- Working closely with recruiters, managers and offshore compliance teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Mentoring and supporting offshore compliance colleagues to maintain high standards and consistent service delivery
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk and enhance the candidate experience

What we're looking for:
Essential
- 2+ years' experience in healthcare compliance, onboarding or auditing within a healthcare recruitment environment
- Strong understanding of NHS compliance standards and UK Right to Work requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for quality and continuous improvement

Desirable
- Experience supporting or leading external framework audits
- Experience mentoring or overseeing compliance team members, including offshore teams
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience

Working hours
9:00am to 5:30pm (flexibility required for out-of-hours audit preparation) Full time – central London
