We are hiring: Compliance Officer – Kmbal Ltd
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Kmbal Ltd was established in 2017 and has continued to grow within the UK money remittance and payments market. We specialise in helping individuals who live and work in the UK send money securely to beneficiaries across Africa and the Middle East.
We are now looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone with experience in financial services, money remittance, cross-border payments, or similar businesses providing payment services to individuals.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge and practical experience in:
- AML and CTF compliance
- KYC and customer due diligence
- Transaction monitoring
- Financial crime prevention
- FCA requirements and guidance
- HMRC AML supervision requirements
- Supporting compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
Experience with SMF16 and/or SMF17 responsibilities would be preferable.
This role is suitable for someone who understands the compliance responsibilities of a UK money remittance business and is confident working in a fast-moving fintech/payments environment.
