Join a growing aviation MRO organisation and develop your career in compliance and quality.

Oakenhurst Aircraft Services Ltd is an established aviation component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation based in Rayleigh, Essex. We hold UK CAA, EASA and FAA approvals, together with ISO 9001 certification, and provide component repair, overhaul and support services to clients across the global aviation industry.

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team and play an important role in supporting our regulatory compliance and quality activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, detail-focused and interested in developing a career within aviation compliance, quality and auditing.

Previous aviation experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

Working closely with our Compliance Monitoring Manager and teams across the organisation, you will gain exposure to a wide range of regulatory, audit and quality activities while helping us maintain the high standards expected within the aviation industry.

The Role

You will support the delivery and continual improvement of our Compliance Monitoring and Quality Management Systems, including:

  • Supporting internal, supplier and regulatory audits and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Conducting and documenting audits, inspections and compliance checks.
  • Preparing audit reports and supporting the investigation of findings and non-conformances.
  • Assisting with root cause analysis and monitoring corrective actions through to completion.
  • Monitoring regulatory and quality requirements and supporting relevant changes.
  • Supporting the maintenance and review of company procedures and controlled documentation.
  • Assisting with preparation for UK CAA, EASA, FAA, ISO 9001 and other external audits.
  • Supporting continual improvement activities and identifying opportunities to improve compliance and quality processes.
  • Producing reports and management information relating to audits, findings and corrective actions.
  • Supporting approved capability reviews and maintaining associated records.
  • Coordinating internal training requirements and maintaining training records.
  • Working with departments across the organisation to promote a positive culture of compliance, quality and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
