Iconic Resourcing are, once again, delighted to be partnering with Comsura for the next phase of their organisational growth.
Due to continued success and growth Comsura require a Compliance Operations Director to join their leadership team and play a key role in this next stage.
Comsura are growing specialist compliance consultancy supporting hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, asset management and other investment firms across the UK. With ambitious growth plans, an expanding client base and a strong reputation in the market, they are seeking a senior compliance professional who wants to move beyond technical delivery and become a key driver of a growing business.
For the right person, this represents a genuine opportunity to shape the future of the organisation, build and lead high performing teams, influence strategy and ultimately participate in the value they help create.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the Founder, you will take ownership of the consulting function, team development and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality compliance advice to clients. You will have overall responsibility for the Glasgow office, with the team reporting into you directly.
You'll be trusted to solve complex problems through your influencing and critical thinking ability and become a key figure in the future growth of the business.
This role will suit someone who enjoys operating at both a strategic and operational level blending overall strategy with tactics, collaborating across the business. One day you may be advising a sophisticated asset management client on FCA requirements and the next you could be developing team capability, improving processes or helping shape the business growth strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
