Compliance Project Surveyor (Level 3)

Every safe home starts with strong compliance. Be part of the team that makes it happen.

Join our dedicated Compliance Team and play a key role in delivering fire safety and compliance programmes across our housing portfolio. Working with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders, you'll help ensure our homes remain safe, compliant and fit for the future.

From managing fire safety improvement works and compliance contracts to monitoring contractor performance and supporting wider building safety initiatives, you'll help deliver the high standards our customers rely on every day.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects, develop your expertise across a range of compliance disciplines, and make a genuine impact on customer safety. You'll join a supportive and collaborative team where your contribution is valued and where your work helps shape safer homes and communities across the South West.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering safety-critical compliance programmes that help keep our customers safe and our homes compliant, well maintained and fit for the future.

As a Compliance Project Surveyor (Level 3), you'll manage compliance contracts and projects across our housing portfolio, with a particular focus on fire safety, water hygiene, lift and lifting equipment safety, and other non-M&E compliance disciplines. You'll oversee programmes from planning through to delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders, you'll help drive high standards of compliance performance, manage risk effectively, and support the delivery of fire risk assessment programmes and associated improvement works.

This is a varied and rewarding role where your expertise will have a direct impact on customer safety, operational performance and the quality of the homes we provide.

Please note: Internally this role is known as Compliance Project Surveyor.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
