About the Role
Join our dynamic team within our Business Process Services (BPS) practice, focusing on optimising and managing core business processes in the financial and insurance sectors. This role specialises in FCA-regulated environments, particularly Life and Pensions products, with a dedicated emphasis on compliance excellence.
By leveraging cutting-edge technology, data analytics, and innovative process models, we help our clients achieve operational resilience, reduce costs, and improve service delivery while ensuring full adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Compliance Leadership: Shape and drive FCA regulatory compliance frameworks for Life and Pensions products, ensuring ongoing alignment with evolving policy changes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with multi-disciplinary teams across legal, business, and risk units to design and implement compliance solutions.
- Change Leadership: Analyse and translate complex regulatory changes into actionable implementations, reporting concise summaries and justifications to executives.
- Process Optimisation: Identify gaps in existing systems and propose data-driven compliance improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME): Offer consultative advice when interacting with senior management, auditors, and external stakeholders around regulatory strategy.
- Knowledge Transfer: Lead training initiatives to upskill team members in FCA-compliance priorities, empowering a culture of continuous improvement.
- ESG Integration: Align compliance strategies with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, ensuring alignment with Atos Group’s sustainability commitments.

Requirements
Essential Criteria
- A minimum of five years’ experience in compliance, specialising within a Financial Conduct Authority-regulated environment, preferably in Life and Pensions sectors.
- Deep expertise in interpreting and applying FCA Rules, Principles, and policy guidance, with hands-on experience in scenario analysis and remedial measures.
- Strong ability to manage and influence a wide range of business stakeholders in a regulated sector, including legal, operations, and senior management.
- Proven ability to disseminate technical compliance topics in clear, accessible formats for non-specialists.
- Experience in either effective solution design or regulatory process improvement within high-stakes financial environments.
Experience & Traits
- Excellence in strategic thinking, helping formulate and articulate regulatory requirements across large programmes.
- Skilled in using technology and data analytics tools to support compliance initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in risk assessment techniques and reporting.
- Strong leadership skills for mentoring junior team members, fostering future talent while aligning efforts with Atos Group’s operations.
