- Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Has an interest in HR, safeguarding, compliance or governance within the charity sector.

Previous experience
- Previous experience in HR, safeguarding, compliance, governance or policy development.

Your work will help ensure BF4A continues to operate safely, responsibly and in line with best practice. By strengthening our safeguarding and compliance processes, you'll help protect the children, young people, volunteers and staff who make our work possible.
Your contribution will provide lasting improvements that support the charity's continued growth and enable us to deliver our services with confidence and integrity.
What will you be doing?

As our Compliance & Safeguarding HR Volunteer, you will
- Research safeguarding, safer recruitment and HR compliance best practice within the charity sector.
- Review existing HR and safeguarding processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
- Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures and guidance documents.
- Help ensure volunteer and staff records meet safeguarding and compliance requirements.
- Take ownership of compliance projects from planning through to completion.
- Work collaboratively with the HR team while confidently managing independent pieces of work.
- Help embed consistent and efficient HR processes across the organisation.
- Escalate any risks or compliance concerns to the HR Lead where appropriate.
