Salary: £29,936.05 per annum plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Fri
Location: Rainham, Essex, RM13 9YB

What you’ll be doing
- Record sampling data and costs accurately to enable precise budgetary forecasting and effective management of profit and loss accounts
- Undertake accurate recording of all samples taken on site and results received from the laboratory, acting promptly on results and informing relevant personnel regarding any failures or emerging trends
- Increase sampling and inspection frequencies in line with HMRC and Company procedures, ensuring continual monitoring of customer performance and compliance standards
- Manage KPIs, monitor sample collections and analysis received, assist with compiling reports and ensure all information is correctly inputted across all databases
- Liaise with weighbridge staff to ensure accurate data recording, verify the correct number of vehicles are being sampled, and maintain comprehensive photographic records
- Provide legislative compliance, operational and developmental support to the Landfill Site Management and other departments as required, ensuring continued statutory compliance in line with Company policies, procedures and systems
- Develop a working knowledge of the weighbridge system and provide support to the administrative team at Rainham Landfill and other local sites as required

What we're looking for
- Previous operational experience gained in a similar industry or role is desirable, with a good understanding of collection of samples and sampling techniques
- Proficient IT user across all Microsoft packages including Excel, with strong data management and reporting capabilities
- Full UK driving licence is essential for this position due to the requirement to drive a company vehicle around the site
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and monitoring data, with the ability to identify trends and act on results promptly
- Good communication and liaison skills to work effectively with weighbridge staff, laboratory personnel, site management and other departments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and take responsibility for compliance monitoring and KPI management
