Compliance Supervisor
Location: University of Lincoln
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. You'll also provide escalation support through the call-out rota, one week in five, covering 5pm–8am on weekdays and 24-hour cover at weekends.
About The Role
We're looking for an organised and motivated Compliance Supervisor to support our site compliance team at the University of Lincoln, ensuring high-quality work and delivery against contractual KPIs. You'll coordinate water and fire compliance activities, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, preparing quotations and managing billable works.
You'll oversee the tasks carried out by our compliance engineers, providing day-to-day supervision and support to ensure work is completed to the required standards and within agreed deadlines. You'll also ensure each task is supported by accurate and complete compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise water and fire compliance PPM, reactive repairs and project works, ensuring tasks are allocated and completed to the required standards, deadlines and contractual KPIs.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date compliance records, ensuring the CAFM system and relevant software contain the required notes and supporting documentation.
- Supervise, organise and motivate the compliance engineers, monitoring productivity and providing operational support, technical guidance and mentoring.
- Identify team training needs, recommend these to the Contract Manager and ensure direct reports' training remains current, while completing your own required training and competent person responsibilities.
- Prepare quotations and billable works documentation, liaising regularly with the client and supervisory and office teams to coordinate delivery and minimise disruption.
- Promote a positive quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) culture, maintaining high standards, completing inspections and recording and managing near misses.

What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience, ideally within Hard FM or statutory compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of building and asset compliance, including water hygiene (L8), fire systems and associated tasks.
- Strong working knowledge of QHSE requirements within a Hard FM or compliance environment.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software.
- An organised approach, with the ability to support a team, communicate effectively with clients
