UL are looking for a Group Tax Analyst to work in our people and culture team.
Based at our Paddington site you’ll be expected to work with, inform and influence colleagues at all levels and across all sites and countries in Urenco. You’ll support management in performing the Group’s UK tax compliance and reporting activities, including corporation tax, VAT and Pillar Two related activities as well as tax reporting under FRS101 and IFRS.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare the UK tax returns, analysis and calculations alongside team members
- Prepare tax analysis and disclosures for the Group’s externally reported interim and full-year results under IFRS, and also for the standalone accounts of the Group’s UK subsidiaries under FRS101
- Develop proficiency in SAP and a network of contacts around the group to obtain data necessary to complete work

Urenco will provide company funded training through a professional training provider, together with paid time off for you to study for accountancy and/or tax qualifications.
What do you need to thrive in this role?
- Proven academic background, ideally with strong mathematics results.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Be inquisitive, within the department we want to see pride and commitment in work quality.
- Have a high level of competency with MS Excel including use of formulas.
- Be highly numerate and analytical
- Some experience in SAP or Alphatax would be desirable, but full training will be provided.
