You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By
- Operationally support the Cromwell Hospital Estates senior management team and engineering team to ensure the consistent and effective operational delivery of HFM Planned and Reactive services, across the Cromwell Hospital and High Street Kensington Offices.
- Provide operational line management to the Cromwell Hospital Estates administration team.
- Monitor and manage the upload of Compliance reports to C365 ensuring accuracy and consistency across all Hard FM service lines. To provide regular reporting and escalation to ensure all respective compliance tasks and remedial actions are tracked and concluded in a timely manner.
- Gain full knowledge of the Cromwell Hospital’s Hard FM services Standard Operating Procedures to be able to ensure adherence and compliance of them within the planned and reactive maintenance regimes of the Hard FM specialist suppliers.
- Deputise for the Building Services Manager where required and support in ensuring the regular auditing, measurement and reporting of the Hard FM contracted services. In order to ensure that services are delivered in line with the contract SLA’s and KPI’s, taking appropriate action to correct service line failures as they occur.
- In support to the Building Services Manager, engage in a suite of regular service reviews meetings across the Hard FM specialist suppliers.
- Provide regular operational input, which should complement, but not duplicate, the tactical management role of the Hard FM specialist services providers.

Education/Qualifications
- You will have a Level 3 or HND in related Mechanical and Electrical Discipline
- IWFM Diploma Level 4 or above is desirable.
- Membership to IMechE, IWFM or RICS would be preferable.
- IOSH Managing Safely and be willing to work toward a NEBOSH General Certificate
Experience
- You will be experienced in PPM delivery in a similar sized / complex organisation and have experience of service standards and how to delivery first class customer satisfaction.
- Experience of supporting the development and implementation of Hard FM specialist services that reflects the needs of stakeholders.
- Experience of negotiation and the procurement of Hard FM specialist services based upon Facilities Management best practice principles including risk transfer, use of output specifications and key performance indicators.
- Understanding and knowledge of performance measurement techniques within the current Hard FM specialist services market
- Experience of management of Hard FM services and experience of developing strategies for the effective maintenance of built and installed assets.
- Knowledge of the current trends and thinking within the Hard FM specialist services market and demonstration of an ability to apply such trends in an operational setting.
Knowledge & Skills
- You will have experience of procedures relating to tendering and quotation levels.
- You will have experience of managing budgets to meet financial targets.
- Strong analytical skills where you can solve problems and implement change.
- You will need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good IT skills in all areas of Microsoft Office and can demonstrate keyboard skills in terms of speed and accuracy.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce to deliver highest standards of service.
- Experience of managing customer relationships within organisations
- Good working knowledge of standards and Compliance legislation as applicable to the Facilities Management market
