Compliance Technical Specialist | E-Money & Payments | Hereford / Cheltenham

We’re working with a growing e-money and payments business that is looking for a Compliance Technical Specialist to join its team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the business and wants to use their regulatory expertise to help shape products, customer journeys, and communications - rather than simply saying “no”.

You’ll work closely with teams across Product, Operations, Marketing, Technology, Financial Crime, and Customer Operations, translating regulatory requirements into practical solutions that support both innovation and good customer outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing technical compliance advice on FCA requirements, Consumer Duty, and customer outcomes
  • Supporting product development, change, and business initiatives from a compliance perspective
  • Translating regulation into practical requirements, controls, and processes
  • Reviewing customer communications, marketing materials, and financial promotions
  • Advising and constructively challenging stakeholders across the business
  • Helping ensure customer journeys and products deliver good outcomes
  • Owning and maintaining regulatory documentation, including terms and conditions and customer disclosures
  • Supporting regulatory change, audit, and assurance activity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
