The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Compliance Technician

Location: Rugeley and Fradley, UK (5 days per week onsite)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Package includes: Salary starts from £26,000 plus pension contributions matched up to 10% and access to flexible benefits that support your development, wellbeing and everyday life.

Are you looking for a new opportunity that has the potential to grow as you become more knowledgeable? Do you enjoy being hands on and adding value by doing meaningful work?

Join the quality team at Premier Nutrition as a Compliance Technician, working across our Rugeley and Fradley sites. You'll have a mix of hands-on quality control, quality assurance and health and safety work, moving between the factory and desk-based tasks. You don't need prior experience in these areas: we'll teach you the technical processes on the job, with support from experienced colleagues at both sites.

What you'll do

  • Collect samples from raw material intake and finished goods and use our on-site equipment to verify materials against their documentation.
  • Help with quality control and quality assurance activities across the two sites.
  • Support compliance and health and safety work, working with people across quality and production.
  • Learn the team's systems and processes as you go, including how product safety documentation is prepared.

What you'll bring

  • A willingness to learn, take a hands-on approach and work with different people across the sites.
  • A full driving licence so you can travel between Rugeley and Fradley. You do not need your own car; a pool car is available for journeys between sites.

Experience in quality, manufacturing, feed or food safety may be useful, but it is not required. This role could suit someone exploring which area of quality or compliance they want to develop in, as well as someone who enjoys a varied role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
