Job Description

Company: ALPINE RACING LIMITED

Role Overview

As a Component Parts Finisher, you will be responsible for removing ridges and artefacts from parts produced on prototyping machines, ensuring a high-quality surface finish without compromising critical features. Many components are delicate and require exceptional care and precision throughout the finishing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finishing and preparing parts to the required standard for painting and aerodynamic use, including applying paint products to achieve a consistent finish free from defects such as orange peel or excessive build-up
  • Booking in, collecting, marking, and identifying parts, as well as carefully picking, packing, and storing them to ensure protection
  • Installing or gluing inserts using a range of adhesives and carrying out buddy checks to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, performing basic preventative maintenance on equipment, and managing consumable stock levels within the model shop
  • Supporting wider workshop activities as required and ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures

The Person

We are looking for someone with excellent hand skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision on sensitive and high-value components.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
