Compositor (All levels) Location: London, UK (Hybrid) Company: Midas VFX
We're looking for talented Junior, Mid, and Senior Compositors to join our London team. You'll have the opportunity to work on world-class productions alongside experienced artists in a collaborative, artist-led environment.
The Role
As a Compositor, you'll combine live-action photography, CG renders, and digital elements into seamless, photoreal final shots. Working closely with VFX Supervisors, CG artists, and Production, you'll help deliver outstanding work for some of the industry's biggest productions.
Responsibilities
- Composite high-quality visual effects shots using Foundry Nuke.
- Integrate CG renders, live-action plates, and matte paintings into final imagery.
- Perform keying, rotoscoping, paint, clean-up, and colour matching where required.
- Work closely with Supervisors and fellow artists to realize the creative vision.
- Deliver work to a consistently high standard while meeting production schedules.
- Troubleshoot technical and creative challenges throughout the compositing process.
- Support and collaborate with other team members to achieve the best possible results.

Requirements
- Experience compositing for feature films or high-end television.
- Strong working knowledge of Foundry Nuke.
- Excellent understanding of colour, lighting, composition, and photographic principles.
- Experience integrating CG renders into live-action photography.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
