Compounding In-Process Checker (IPC)

We are looking for a quality-driven Compounding In-Process Checker (IPC) to join our Compounding team.

The IPC plays an important role in ensuring compounded medicines are prepared accurately, safely, and consistently. Working closely with Compounding Operatives, Pharmacists, and the Quality team, you will independently verify critical stages of the compounding process and ensure that activities are completed in accordance with approved procedures, batch documentation, and quality requirements.

This is a hands-on role within the compounding operation. You will be present throughout production, performing in-process checks, reviewing documentation, and supporting the team to identify and resolve issues before products progress to the next stage.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform independent in-process checks during the preparation of compounded medicines.
  • Verify the correct product, formulation, strength, batch size, and batch documentation before and during processing.
  • Independently check the identity, quantity, and batch/lot details of APIs, excipients, and other materials used during compounding.
  • Verify calculations, weights, quantities, and measurements at defined critical stages.
  • Check equipment identification, status, and setup before processing begins.
  • Perform and document required checks during weighing, blending, encapsulation, liquid preparation, filling, counting, and packaging activities.
  • Check finished quantities against expected batch yields and investigate or escalate discrepancies.
  • Ensure required in-process controls are completed and results are within defined acceptance criteria.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
