Position: Computational Biology Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80 - $100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate on assignments to evaluate and enhance AI coding agents in computational biology.
- Provide real-world use cases for AI agents in complex computational biology scenarios.
- Document workflows and outcomes using AI agents for sequence generation and problem-solving.
- Deliver comprehensive feedback on model performance and integration potential in STEM environments.
- Contribute data and insights on navigating large codebases and debugging in computational biology.
- Engage in discussions to iterate on tools and techniques, articulating complex technical information.

Requirements
- Hands-on expertise in computational biology with a track record of complex technical projects.
- Proficiency with Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork for sequence generation.
- Experience navigating large codebases and managing architectural changes in computational settings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to describe problem-solving processes and outcomes.
- Active engagement as a STEM professional applying AI coding agents to real-world problems.
