About the practice
A leading international architecture and design practice with a well-established London studio. The Sports + Entertainment team is expanding and has already started work on new projects, so an early start is preferred.
The role
You will develop, optimise and document stadium bowl geometries using parametric design tools and performance-driven modelling, shaping spectator experience, sightlines, seating layouts and the overall geometry of large-scale sports venues. You will work closely with architects, engineers and visualisation specialists so that designs are compelling, structurally efficient and operationally functional, and compliant with international standards for sports venues.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimise stadium bowl geometry using parametric and computational workflows.
- Design and test sightlines, seating layouts and audience experience.
- Apply sports federation standards (FIFA, UEFA, IOC etc.) and the Green Guide, plus other relevant regulatory guidance.
- Build and maintain scripts and tools to automate and improve design workflows.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers and visualisation specialists.

About you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Computational Design, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Approximately 3+ years of professional experience in sports architecture, computational design or stadium/arena projects.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and in scripting (Python, C# or Dynamo).
- Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper required.
- Solid understanding of stadium design principles, sightline geometry and audience experience.
- Excellent 3D modelling, visualisation and problem-solving skills.
