CAD Designer – Kettering

Up to £30,000 DOE | Full-Time | Training & Development

An established and growing engineering and manufacturing business in Kettering is looking for a CAD Designer to join its Design & Engineering team.


The Role

  • Create 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor
  • Produce detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings
  • Create BOMs and technical documentation
  • Update existing drawings and manage revisions
  • Work closely with engineering, production and project teams
  • Support new product development and prototypes

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Understanding of engineering/manufacturing drawings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Product Design qualification beneficial
  • Graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience with Sage 200, sheet metal or fabrication would be a bonus
