CAD Operator | Stratford, London

JML JobMatcha is recruiting an experienced CAD Operator for a client project based in Stratford, London. This is a strong opportunity for a skilled CAD professional who wants the flexibility of predominantly remote working, combined with regular collaboration on-site.

The role: You'll be responsible for 3D CAD modelling and drawing production, primarily updating existing models and drawings from mark-ups provided by design engineers. You'll work as part of a team of CAD Operators, reporting to the CAD Team Lead, within the client's Common Data Environment.

What's on offer:

  • Rate up to £50 per hour (Umbrella) / £38.56 per hour (PAYE)
  • Approximately 4-month contract
  • Predominantly remote, with office visits to Stratford around twice a week
  • 8 working hours per day, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times by agreement

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a CAD Operator, with strong 3D modelling and drawing production skills
  • Experience working from engineering mark-ups
  • Familiarity with Bentley software (MicroStation, OpenBuildings Designer, OpenRoads Designer, ProjectWise) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work well within a team
