We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician to join our fast-paced Store Development team, based at our Distribution Centre in Runcorn (WA7 1SE). This is a fantastic role for someone with strong AutoCAD LT skills and a keen eye for detail, looking to play a key part in the design and development of our growing retail estate.

Please note: Our location is not easily accessible by public transport, so having your own means of transport is strongly advised. The role is fully office-based, Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing:

  • Producing & amending AutoCAD layouts for new stores, extensions, & refurbishments
  • Converting PDF & paper plans into digital formats
  • Creating accurate fire plans for submission to the relevant authorities
  • Updating layouts in line with information from our site surveyor
  • Maintaining up-to-date store plans across the business
  • Assisting with ordering equipment (e.g., checkouts, shelving components)
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors, surveyors, the property team, & senior management
  • Providing general administrative support to the Store Development Manager

What you'll bring:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD LT – this is essential!
  • A good understanding of UK building regulations + retail experience would be advantageous
  • Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident working at pace and managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a hands-on approach
