Joinery CAD Technician
£40,000 - £45,000 + Training on CAD + Progression + Benefits
Cheddar, Somerset
Are you a Cabinet Maker, Furniture Maker or Joiner looking to get off the tools and work for one of the most prestigious bespoke joinery companies in the world?
Progressing into a technical drawing role, you will move away from the workshop and advance towards a career in detailed design, with further progression opportunities to Technical Designer or Management.
With 2D CAD experience as a basic requirement, you will receive training on 3D CAD and convert internal detailing into production-ready drawings for manufacture.

This role would suit a maker who has experience with 2D CAD, who is looking to come off the tools and progress into a design led role, with career pathways to management or technical design.
The Role 📐
- Convert detailings to production ready drawings for manufacture
- Work closely with the shopfloor to keep projects on track and buildable
- Training supplied on the in house 3D CAD package
- Clear progression route into a full Technical Designer or Management

The Person ✅
- Background as a Cabinet Maker, Furniture Maker or Joiner
- Genuine interest in moving into a technical, drawing-based role
- 2D CAD experience in some capacity, IT Literacy
