Are you an Architectural Technician looking for more responsibility and direct exposure to clients and projects?
Would you enjoy working closely with a business owner where your contribution genuinely influences project delivery and company growth?
Do you want to work on a varied portfolio of residential extensions, bespoke homes, and housing projects across Surrey and the surrounding areas?

A growing architectural design practice is seeking an Architectural Technician to support the delivery of a wide range of residential projects. With a strong reputation built across the local market, the business delivers extensions, new build homes, and residential developments for a loyal client base in and around Weybridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architectural Technician who enjoys taking ownership of drawings, communicating directly with clients, and developing their career within a growing business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director, playing a key role in project delivery and future growth.

We Are Looking For An Architectural Technician Who:

  • Has 2-4 years of experience within an architectural practice or residential design environment;
  • Is highly proficient using AutoCAD 2D;
  • Has experience producing planning and building regulation drawings;
  • Has worked on residential extensions, alterations, bespoke homes, or housing schemes;
  • Is confident communicating directly with clients and stakeholders;
  • Is willing to commute to a Weybridge office on a hybrid basis;
  • Is organised, proactive, and keen to develop their career;
  • Can work independently while remaining collaborative and approachable.

As The Successful Architectural Technician, You Will:

  • Produce detailed architectural drawings for residential extensions, refurbishments, and new build homes;
  • Prepare planning and building regulations submissions;
  • Liaise directly with clients throughout project delivery;
  • Coordinate information with consultants and subcontractors;
  • Support projects from initial concept through to construction stages;
  • Assist with technical detailing and drawing production;
  • Work closely with the Director on a wide variety of residential commissions;
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the business.
