Senior / Intermediate CAD-REVIT Technician
Location: South London
Type: Full-Time / Hybrid
About the role:
We are looking for a talented Revit/CAD Technician to join our Building Services design team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings and BIM models to support the delivery of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) engineering projects across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
Working closely with Engineers, Project Managers, and BIM Coordinators, you will play a key role in developing coordinated building services models from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) systems.
- Develop coordinated BIM models in accordance with project and company BIM standards.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, layouts, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
- Coordinate building services designs with architects, structural engineers, and external consultants.
- Participate in model reviews and clash detection exercises using Navisworks or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Update models and drawings throughout all stages of project delivery.
- Create and manage Revit families and project templates where required.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company quality procedures and industry standards.
- Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
- Assist engineers with technical drawing production and design coordination.
- Attend internal design meetings and multidisciplinary coordination workshops.

Essential:
- Previous experience as a Revit Technician, CAD Technician, or BIM Technician within a Building Services, MEP, or Engineering Consultancy environment.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
- Strong AutoCAD experience.
- Experience producing coordinated technical drawings and BIM models.
- Good understanding of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Knowledge of construction drawing standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
