Role Description
The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Coventry Area. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC grinding machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include:

The CNC Machinist will inspect finished parts, document measurements, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards. The role also includes routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting minor issues, and collaborating with engineers and production teams to meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong Machine Operation skills, including setup, programming, and safe operation of CNC machinery.
- Proficiency in grinding techniques for producing precision components to tight tolerances.
- Experience with Quality Control processes, including measurement, inspection, and documentation of finished parts.
- Ability to work confidently with industrial machinery, performing routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in CNC machining, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
- Previous experience in aerospace, automotive, or other precision engineering environments is beneficial.
