Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer role based in Corby. The CNC Programmer will create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for machining ceramic, glass, and related components, ensuring efficient and accurate production.

- Interpreting technical drawings
- Setting up machines for milling and other machining operations
- Selecting appropriate tools and cutting parameters
- Performing test runs to verify part quality
Collaboration
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, improve process efficiency, and maintain consistent quality standards
- Monitoring machine performance
- Performing basic maintenance
- Adhering to safety procedures
- Documenting program changes and production data
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering blueprints (Technical Drawing)
- Strong skills in CNC Programming for milling and other machining operations (CNC Programming, Programming)
- Hands-on experience with machining processes, including setup and operation of milling machines (Machining, Milling)
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a focus on precision and quality
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally within ceramics, glass, or related materials
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC controls (e.g., FANUC, Siemens, or similar) is highly beneficial
- Understanding of health and safety practices in machine shop and production environments
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in machining, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline
