The Role: Computing Tutor
As a Computing Tutor, you’ll:
- Support adults in building essential digital literacy—from foundational skills to advanced computing and development.
- Deliver high-quality, learner-centric teaching tailored to diverse needs (e.g., digital beginners vs. advanced learners).
- Create and coordinate lesson plans, resources, and assessments using online e-portfolio systems.
- Foster confidence and technical proficiency in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
- Maintain flexibility with a part-time role that may include evenings and weekends.

Ideal candidate: ✔ A passionate educator with a teaching qualification (Level 3 or above). ✔ Strong expertise in:
- Microsoft 365
- Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Software development (Python, scripting languages)
- IT support/hardware/networking
- Cybersecurity & online safety ✔ Teaching experience in adult education, both face-to-face and online. ✔ Exceptional communication skills and ability to inspire motivation despite barriers.
