Caramel London is a modern luxury brand founded in 1999 by designer Eva Karayiannis to redefine traditional childrenswear with a fresh, contemporary approach. Role Description

The Concession Manager at Selfridges is an on-site role responsible for the day-to-day management and commercial performance of the Caramel concession.

The role includes:

  • Leading and motivating the team
  • Driving sales and KPIs
  • Managing stock and replenishment
  • Maintaining strong visual merchandising standards
  • Ensuring an exceptional level of customer service

The Concession Manager will work closely with Caramel Head Office and the Selfridges team on trading performance, product launches, promotions, and brand presentation. The role also includes staff training and development, performance management, and ensuring that Caramel’s luxury brand standards are consistently maintained.

Qualifications

  • Previous childrenswear retail experience is essential, with a strong understanding of childrenswear product, sizing, outfitting, and gifting.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to deliver a highly personal, service-led luxury retail experience.
  • Previous experience managing a concession, department, or similar retail environment, ideally within premium or luxury fashion.
  • Proven ability to drive sales, monitor KPIs, and take responsibility for commercial performance.
  • Previous supervisory or team management experience, including training, motivating, and managing performance.
  • Strong understanding of stock management, replenishment, and visual merchandising.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with customers, Selfridges management, and Caramel Head Office.
  • Highly organised, reliable, and commercially minded, with the ability to take ownership of the concession.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading periods as required.
  • Experience within luxury childrenswear or a premium children’s brand is highly desirable.
