The Venue
Coventry Building Society Arena has forged an enviable reputation as the leading international venue for a variety of events, attracting more than 1.3 million visitors a year. We are renowned for hosting a myriad of exhibitions, sporting events, including the Commonwealth Games and a wide range of entertainment.
Home of Coventry City Football Club, Coventry Building Society Arena is synonymous with music, having hosted many of the biggest bands on the planet, including the Killers, Rammstein, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, Harry Styles, and the Arctic Monkeys.
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an event day concessions staff to join us on a casual basis. The main purpose of the role is to provide guests with an excellent customer experience serving a variety of food and drinks in our in-house concessions outlets.
This is a casual, event-based position, offering flexible shifts around Coventry Building Society & Coventry City FC's event calendar.
The Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service across all concessions areas, resolving customer issues and complaints efficiently while using till systems effectively.
- Lead and manage large teams across multiple locations during peak trading periods, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high service standards.
- Train, brief, motivate, and support Team Leaders and concessions staff throughout each shift, acting as the first point of contact for staff-related issues.
- Take accountability for stock management, ensuring stock is available, accurately counted, and recorded throughout service.
- Maintain responsibility for unit presentation, cleanliness, cash handling, and profit control measures across all concessions areas within your remit.

Recruitment Process Outlined
- 1st Stage - Interview at the venue with F&B team.
