Job Title: Concession Manager

We are delighted to be launching a brand-new My 1st Years concession at Fenwick Newcastle, and we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Concession Manager to join us and help make the launch a success.

As Concession Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of our new concession, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a fantastic shopping experience for our customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the concession meets and exceeds sales targets
  • Manage the My 1st Years concession within Fenwick Newcastle, promoting the brand and making the most of events and promotional opportunities
  • Inspire, motivate, and develop your team to meet and exceed individual targets
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and support where needed
  • Complete operational tasks accurately, including staff rotas, payroll, and relevant reports
  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards, refreshing displays as needed to attract customers
  • Ensure the stockroom and concession are kept organized and presented to a high standard
  • Build positive working relationships with the Fenwick team
  • Report regularly to senior management
  • Work as part of the sales team when required and remain flexible to the needs of the business

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory retail role
  • Experience within luxury, premium, or high-end retail
  • Previous concession management experience is desirable
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Flexible and willing to get involved wherever needed

Location

  • My 1st Years Concession, Fenwick Newcastle
  • This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week across a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Pay: £16.30 per hour
