Radisson Blu Hotel, London Mercer Street in London is a luxury boutique hotel set in the picturesque Seven Dials neighbourhood of Covent Garden. Discover one of the capital's most beloved areas, famous for its many theatres, boutiques, markets, culture and nightlife.

We are looking for a welcoming, professional, and service-focused Doorman to be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering a warm and memorable arrival experience. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will ensure a seamless guest journey while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and security.

What we offer

£28,121.60 per annum

Permanent, full-time contract (38.5 hrs per week)

Essential Functions

  • Provide a permanent presence in the hotel lobby, ensuring all guests and visitors are welcomed, thus creating an excellent first impression.
  • Gain a thorough knowledge of the local area, both tourist attractions, business location and of local events to assist leisure and business travellers during their stay.
  • Co-ordinate luggage delivery, collection, storage, message and paging service, thus providing a friendly and efficient communication centre.
  • Organise the booking of tickets for tours, theatres, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
  • Provide a travel information centre by booking and confirming airline tickets, making car arrangements, ordering taxis and advising on transport routes to facilitate guests' travel needs.
  • Co-ordinate and oversee the parking of guest's and visitor's cars as determined by the hotel's own parking and arrangements.
  • Lost property postage.
  • Overseeing deliveries and signing for packages when requested.
  • Performing admin tasks given by head concierge.
  • Co-ordinate guest taxi arrangements.

  • Driving Licencing (preferred, to use the shuttle bus service).
