Our client is a leading events business delivering high-profile conferences across the life sciences sector, and they are looking for a driven and ambitious Concierge Manager to join their growing team.

£33,000-£35,000 based on experience + OTE £50,000+ South West London | Hybrid Sector: B2B Events / Life Sciences

The Concierge Manager will be responsible for managing a premium meeting service for key sponsors, connecting them with relevant senior decision-makers across biotech, pharma, healthcare, academia and investment. This is a highly relationship-focused and commercially driven role, combining sales, account management, research and event networking. The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for sponsors, understanding their objectives and ensuring they are connected with the right people before and during the event.

The Role

  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of Gold and Platinum sponsors, acting as their key point of contact throughout the event cycle
  • Onboard sponsors, understand their objectives and build targeted attendee wishlists
  • Research relevant companies and senior decision-makers to identify strong potential matches
  • Work closely with Audience Development and Sponsorship teams to source and engage target contacts
  • Coordinate and book high-quality meetings between sponsors and relevant attendees
  • Manage meeting schedules through the event networking platform, ensuring meetings are strategically planned around the conference agenda
  • Support sponsors with additional meeting requests and introductions in the run-up to and during events
  • Maintain accurate CRM and event data across Salesforce and internal systems
  • Monitor meeting fulfilment and sponsor satisfaction, identifying opportunities to improve the service
  • Build strong relationships that support sponsor retention, renewals and future upsell opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Audience Development and Operations teams

About You

Our client is looking for someone who is super driven, motivated and commercially minded, with strong relationship-building skills and a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional client experience. Ideally, the successful candidate will have:

  • 1+ years' sales experience within the events/conferences industry
  • Experience in B2B sales, account management, client services or relationship management
  • A proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Strong research and prospecting skills
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong commercial awareness and a genuine desire to achieve targets
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Life sciences experience is desirable but not essential, our client is primarily looking for someone with strong events sales experience who is hungry to succeed.

The Person

This role would suit someone who is ambitious, highly organised and motivated by delivering results. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, building relationships with senior sponsors and taking ownership of the process from initial onboarding through to the event. They will be proactive, detail-focused and commercially aware, with the confidence to pick up the phone, chase opportunities and ensure sponsors receive the highest possible level of service. In return, this is a great opportunity to join a growing events business, work across established international conferences and develop within a highly commercial environment.
