Concrete Batching and Mixing Plant Supervisor

Ipswich
£35,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + Progression

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for a Plant Supervisor to join a well-established and growing organisation operating across East Anglia.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, practical Plant Supervisor who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation of a busy site rather than sitting behind a desk.

The Role:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of plant operations
  • Manage concrete and mortar production
  • Operate computerised batching systems
  • Coordinate with customers, hauliers and internal teams
  • Monitor production output, quality and stock levels
  • Organise incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Carry out routine plant inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Complete basic mechanical repairs and identify potential faults
  • Supervise contractors, visitors and site personnel
  • Maintain excellent Health & Safety, environmental and housekeeping standards
  • Identify operational issues and take ownership of resolving them
  • Travel between company sites across East Anglia when required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
