Concrete Repair Operative - Water Infrastructure

£17-£19 per hour + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime + Training + Bonus

Swindon

Are you a Concrete Repair Operative, Construction Operative or similar with hands-on experience in concrete repair, trowel work or structural maintenance, looking for a stable role where you can develop specialist skills within the water industry?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established contractor working across major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will receive training and development to build your experience across concrete repair, resin injection, waterproofing, protective coatings and the maintenance of water infrastructure.

In this hands-on role, you will carry out concrete repairs, resin injection, trowel-applied works, waterproofing and protective coatings across clean-water and wastewater assets. You will also be involved in jet washing, cleaning and maintaining water infrastructure, with opportunities to develop your experience working in confined spaces and within operational water and sewage treatment environments.

The Role:

  • Carrying out concrete repair, structural maintenance, resin injection and trowel-applied repairs to water infrastructure
  • Applying waterproofing and protective coatings using spray and hand-applied methods
  • Cleaning, jet washing and maintaining clean-water and wastewater treatment assets, including cleaning and chlorination works
  • Working across water infrastructure sites, including confined spaces and sewage/wastewater treatment environments, while following site procedures and safety requirements

The Person:

  • Previous hands-on experience in concrete repair, structural maintenance, rendering/trowel work, construction or similar
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and clean-water/wastewater environments
  • Based within a commutable distance of Swindon and willing to travel across the Wessex Water and Thames Water regions, including occasional work away from home
