Join Master Builders Solutions as a Concrete Technologist!

Master Builders Solutions is excited to announce an opening for a Concrete Technologist at our Swinton manufacturing facility. You will play a pivotal role in the research, development, and quality control of advanced concrete and cementitious materials. You will contribute to innovative solutions that enhance the performance, durability, and sustainability of concrete structures.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and undertake accurate analysis of concrete and mortar using a range of techniques in Master Builders Solutions concrete laboratory, at customers' production facilities or on construction sites to support our sales team and regional market unit.
  • Identifying customer expectations and working within statutory legislation as well as internal standards.
  • Supporting the development, evaluation and promotion of innovative construction chemical technologies, including concrete admixtures and performance-enhancing solutions, while providing technical advice, product demonstrations and application support to internal teams and external customers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of concrete and/or materials testing or practical experience of construction is essential.
  • Precision and strong organisational skills, ensuring accurate concrete testing, sampling, documentation and quality-control activities are completed efficiently and delivered within required timescales.
  • The successful candidate will enjoy facing new challenges and have a passion for achieving success in a "hands on" role.
  • Have a proactive approach towards Health & Safety and to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Beyond being proficient in MS Office based systems, the successful candidate will be able to analyse and interpret data in order to report results.
  • Flexibility is a must as this position involves a considerable amount of travel and on occasions you will be required to spend nights away from home and therefore a full driving licence is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer services skills.
  • All candidates must have the right to work within the UK.
