Job Opportunity at Senior Salmon

Senior Salmon are seeking up to four reliable and skilled operatives to support the precast production team. The role involves preparing moulds, cages and fittings ready for casting, carrying out small alterations, and working closely with experienced operatives to ensure units are set accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting units in line with production requirements
  • Carrying out small alterations to moulds as instructed
  • Cleaning, preparing and maintaining moulds to a high standard
  • Preparing reinforcement cages ready for placement into moulds
  • Securing fittings and components within moulds prior to casting
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, including transferring measurements from drawings to tape measure accurately
  • Working alongside experienced operatives and following guidance on unit-setting processes
  • Adhering to all health & safety instructions and completing relevant task sheets
  • Maintaining a clean, safe working environment

  • Shift: 06:00 - 14:30
