Your role in our family
Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the Conference & Banqueting floor
Train and coach Operations staff, monitoring performance and providing feedback
Attend BEO meetings, handovers and pre-cons to stay ahead of upcoming events
Meet and greet conference clients, running through their day and handling any changes
Check room set-ups against the BEO and ensure timings for breaks, lunch and dinner are met
Support the bar team with stock rotation, cleanliness and stock-take preparation
Ensure the C&B area is clean, tidy and well-stocked at all times
Control the operation in the absence of senior C&B managers
What we're looking for
- Previous supervisory experience in conference & banqueting or events within a hotel
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events at once
- A confident, clear communicator who can brief and motivate a team
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- A calm, detail-focused approach under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varying shift patterns
