Conference & Banqueting Floor Manager

Full-time position, 45 hours
£31,950 per annum plus service charge

Your role in our family:

  • Lead, brief and support the Conference & Banqueting team to deliver exceptional service across conferences, weddings and special events
  • Allocate duties, oversee performance and provide training, feedback and guidance to maintain consistently high standards
  • Oversee the setup and delivery of events in accordance with Banquet Event Orders, client requirements and hotel standards
  • Act as the main operational contact for clients, coordinating closely with the Events, Kitchen and wider Food & Beverage teams
  • Support banqueting bar operations, including beverage ordering, stock rotation, stocktake preparation and maintaining clean, organised bar areas
  • Ensure cash handling, billing, banking and shift handovers are completely accurately and communicated effectively
  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation throughout all Conference & Banqueting areas
  • Take responsibility in the absence of senior managers and ensure all health and safety, food hygiene, licensing and company procedures are followed

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Conference & Banqueting supervisory or management role is essential
  • Previous banqueting bar experience, with knowledge of beverage service, stock control and cash-handling procedures
  • Experience leading, training and motivating a team within a busy events environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with confidence liaising directly with clients
  • A hands-on, guest focused approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holiday in line with business needs
