Conference Cleaner (Zero Hours) - Yarnfield Park, Staffordshire | Zero Hours

We’re looking for...
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and friendly Conference Cleaner to join our team at Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre. You’ll play an important role in making sure our public areas, meeting rooms and conference spaces are clean, welcoming and ready for our guests and delegates.
This is a varied role in a busy conference and hospitality environment, working closely with our Housekeeping and Conference teams to make sure Yarnfield Park looks its best at all times.
Conference Cleaner (Zero Hours) - The Role
As a Conference Cleaner, you’ll help create a clean, comfortable and professional environment for everyone visiting Yarnfield Park.
You’ll
- Clean and maintain public areas throughout the conference centre to a high standard.
- Clean and prepare meeting and conference rooms, ensuring they are ready for guests and delegates.
- Keep corridors, offices, toilets and other communal areas clean, tidy and presentable.
- Ensure rooms and facilities are consistently clean, welcoming and safe.
- Replenish toiletries, cleaning products and other consumables as required.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requirements and requests from the Conference and Housekeeping teams.
- Support the Housekeeping and Conference teams during busy periods, conferences and events.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns to the appropriate manager.
- Follow all cleaning, health and safety and COSHH procedures.
- Work as part of a team to maintain a professional and welcoming environment across the conference centre.
- Support other departments when required to help deliver a great experience for our guests and delegates.
Working Pattern
This is a zero-hours role with a flexible working pattern to support our busy conference and events programme.

The role will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with working hours varying depending on business requirements, busy periods and events.
You’ll need to be flexible and willing to work across a range of shifts throughout the year.
What We’re Looking For
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable, but full training will be provided. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.
You’ll Ideally Have
- A good eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- A reliable, punctual and hardworking approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive and helpful attitude towards guests, delegates and colleagues.
- The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
- An understanding of the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
- A flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- A willingness to support colleagues and other departments when required.
- The ability to follow cleaning, health and safety and COSHH procedures.
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable, but not essential.
