Conference and Events Team Member – The Collector’s Hall at AC Hotel by Marriott Glasgow

The Collector’s Hall – Glasgow’s most exciting new event space – is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Conference and Events Team Member to join our team. This role is perfect for those who love hospitality, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

About The Collector’s Hall

Located in the beautifully restored Parish Halls and part of the iconic Love Loan development, The Collector’s Hall blends historic charm with sleek, modern design. Launched in Summer 2025, this stunning venue will be the backdrop for unforgettable weddings, inspiring meetings, and landmark private events – right in the heart of Glasgow.

Whether it’s a morning board meeting, an elegant cocktail reception, or a grand wedding celebration, our versatile space and welcoming team ensure that every event leaves a lasting impression.

A Day in the Life at The Collector’s Hall

As a Meeting & Events Assistant, You’ll Be Part Of The Team That Brings Every Event To Life – From Intimate Gatherings To Full-scale Celebrations. Your Day Might Include

  • Preparing event spaces for conferences, banquets, and private functions
  • Setting up tables and service stations with precision and care
  • Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism
  • Serving food, drinks, and refreshments throughout the event
  • Ensuring smooth service, anticipating guest needs, and responding promptly
  • Supporting event transitions – from breakout sessions to dinner service
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all function areas
  • Working closely with the Kitchen team to deliver a flawless experience
  • Supporting setup and breakdown before and after events

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in hospitality, events, or banqueting is a plus – but not essential
  • A proactive, professional attitude and genuine passion for service
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • A keen eye for detail and a calm, composed approach under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently in dynamic settings
  • A polished appearance and confident communication style
  • A positive mindset and pride in creating memorable moments for guests
