This specialist premium events and media business is seeking a Conference Producer to help grow the brand and its events.

About The Company

This is a premium events and media business focused on the technology sector. Their events are deliberately different from traditional large-scale conferences and whilst they are a relatively young company, they have quickly developed a strong position in the marketplace.

About The Role

This role requires balancing strategic content development with operational delivery whilst managing multiple conference products and maintaining strong relationships with senior industry stakeholders. More specifically you'll be:

  • developing conference programmes through market research and industry analysis
  • creating innovative programme formats that maximise audience engagement and commercial value
  • building relationships with, recruiting and managing high-profile speakers, moderators, advisory board members and knowledge partners
  • taking responsibility for end to end speaker management from point of recruitment and pre-event preparations through to onsite delivery and post-event follow-up
  • working closely with the Commercial team to identify sponsorship opportunities and support business development
  • working closely with Marketing to support in the delivery of compelling content campaigns
  • working with partners and industry stakeholders on the delivery of articles, interviews and promotional material to support audience and delegate acquisition
  • attending conferences to oversee programme delivery and speaker management.

Where required you will need to attend domestic and international events to meet with stakeholders. Initially offered on a 3 month contract basis this company is hopeful that this role will become permanent. The company work on a hybrid basis with offices in central London.

About You

We're looking for someone with the following profile:

  • experience in B2B conference production, content development or a related role
  • proven experience developing commercially successful conference programmes
  • experience engaging with senior industry stakeholders and executive-level speakers
  • strong understanding of conference production lifecycle management
  • excellent project management and organisational skills
  • excellent networking and stakeholder management capability
  • able to attend international events (approx. 5-6 over the course of the year)
