Job Description
Portico are currently recruiting for a Conference Services and Events Supervisor to work alongside our manager supporting the delivery of exceptional conference and event services while overseeing and guiding our team based at a leading American multinational investment bank situated in the city.

The role involves overseeing bookings and events, ensuring a seamless service is delivered, and a professional image is always maintained. This is a highly visible position, working closely with the firm’s staff and clients, as well as other service partners across the business. The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach, supporting all aspects of the events coordination while demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and an open-minded approach in ever-changing business environment.
Exceptional attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, and pride in delivering outstanding service are fundamental to this role.
Working Hours: 40 Hours per week. Mon – Fri between 8:00 – 18:30 pm. Earlier or later shifts may be required to accommodate event requirements and business needs.
Salary: £43,079
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leading service delivery or supervisory role within a high-end corporate or luxury hotel environment.
- Ability to deliver business-level customer service while working with clients, stakeholders, and senior personnel.
- A demonstrable understanding of service excellence and a high-quality customer experience.
- Experience with room reservations, conference bookings, and events planning.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
