Conference Sponsorship Sales — AI Hot 100 Summit Portfolio
The leading conference portfolio in enterprise AI transformation
Location: London (Hybrid)
About Furnace Group
Furnace Group is building one of the world's leading media and intelligence platforms connecting enterprise AI leaders, founders and investors.
Our brands include The AI Furnace, AI Hot 100 and Chief AI Council, bringing together Fortune 500 executives, high-growth AI companies and global technology leaders through conferences, executive dinners, media and intelligence.
We're building much more than events. Our ambition is to become the trusted media and intelligence platform for enterprise AI.
We're looking for an ambitious Conference Sponsorship Sales professional to help drive commercial growth across our flagship conferences and build an internationally recognised conference portfolio.
The Role
As part of the Conference Sponsorship Sales team, you will be responsible for selling sponsorships and partnerships across the AI Hot 100 conference portfolio.
You'll manage the sales process from prospecting and outreach through to meetings, proposals and closing deals.
This is an entrepreneurial role for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and winning new business.
You'll work directly with the Founder and a small, high-performing team. Because we're a lean business, you'll have significant autonomy and responsibility from day one.
This isn't a role with a large sales organisation, layers of management or a playbook for every situation. You'll need to be comfortable figuring things out, moving quickly and taking ownership.
You'll also be expected to develop a strong understanding of the enterprise AI market — the companies, technologies, buyers and competitive landscape — and use that knowledge to become a thoughtful and credible commercial partner to our sponsors.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & New Business
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective sponsors and partners.
- Research target companies and identify relevant decision-makers.
- Use LinkedIn, prospecting and outbound sales tools, databases and other technology platforms to identify prospects, build lists and generate new opportunities.
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, warm introductions, networking and Furnace Group's existing relationships.
- Conduct sales calls and meetings with prospective sponsors.
- Develop proposals and bespoke sponsorship packages.
- Negotiate and close sponsorship deals.
- Work towards and exceed individual revenue targets.
Sponsorship Sales
- Sell sponsorship opportunities across AI Hot 100 conferences and related Furnace Group products.
- Understand each prospect's business, commercial objectives and target audience.
- Develop relevant sponsorship opportunities around thought leadership, executive engagement, branding, meetings, content and other conference inventory.
- Communicate the value of the AI Hot 100 audience and proposition clearly and persuasively.
- Work with the production team to align sponsor opportunities with the conference audience and programme.
- Identify opportunities to turn individual sponsorships into longer-term partnerships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
