Service Configuration Lead
Needed for a high-growth commodities brokerage company where you will be SME for configuration management across Technology. You'll set the standards, tighten the controls, and make sure the database is a source of reliable information that supports operations, service management, risk, and audit.
This is a hands-on role. You'll own tools like Lansweeper and Atlassian Assets Discovery, spot data-quality issues across multiple sources, and work with system owners to fix problems at the root, not just patch symptoms.
You will own the Configuration Management framework, standards, processes, and procedures, administer and continually improve our CMDB within the Atlassian ecosystem, build and support integrations into Atlassian Assets / Data Manager, including discovery tools, source systems, APIs, and scheduled data feeds. This will involve monitoring discovery and integration health, investigating failures, and coordinating fixes with source-system owners.

This role involves reporting on CMDB health, discovery coverage, data quality, risks, and remediation, driving continuous improvement through automation, scripting, and API integrations, supporting audit, risk, and regulatory requirements around configuration and asset data.

What we're looking for
- Strong experience in Configuration Management, configuration database management, IT Asset Management, or ITSM
- Hands-on experience administering and governing a CMDB in a complex technology environment
- Solid understanding of CI lifecycle management, relationships, data ownership, and controls
- Experience in recording and reconciling data across systems and finding root causes of data-quality issues
Salary and benefits:
- Up to £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits
- Three days a week in office, based in Central London
