Job Description & Key Accountabilities

Overview

Hunter will be hiring junior consultants to work alongside an experienced Epic team to deploy and support Epic enterprise software suite across the North West of England.

We are hiring consultants to be trained in Epic applications and to start their careers in the exciting world of Healthcare IT. You may come with experience from working in the NHS or you might be looking for a change of scene and a new challenge. Either way, we would be keen to hear from you.

This role is based in Manchester but may travel UK-wide.

Why Hunter?

Hunter Healthcare is a high-growth, private equity-backed People Services business with offices in London, Leeds, Bristol, New York, and Boston. Our Digital Solutions Practice is a cornerstone of our ambition to become the Global People Partner of Choice to Healthcare organisations.

Our Digital Solutions team is made up of specialist partners with lived experience within the NHS and the wider healthcare sector. This unique perspective allows us to deliver practical, tailored solutions that address the real challenges healthcare organisations face.

As part of a dynamic, high-performing, and values-driven team, you will work alongside subject matter experts who are committed to innovation and excellence. We thrive on collaboration and continuous learning and are always pushing the boundaries to deliver exceptional results. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally, to shape the future of Hunter's healthcare consultancy arm, and to make a real impact in our sector and for our clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
