Why this role?

We’re looking for a Configuration Lead to join our Insurance, Money and Services team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced configuration professional with Genesys configuration and integration expertise to become the recognised expert for configuration, governance and change across a complex enterprise technology landscape. Experience with CDL Strata is desirable but not essential.

Reporting to the Product Manager within Agile & Transformation, you’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, PMO teams and third-party vendors to shape configuration strategy, influence key decisions and ensure changes are governed, compliant and delivered effectively.

You’ll play a key role in defining best practice, driving continuous improvement and supporting major business and technology initiatives, helping to improve delivery outcomes, operational resilience and system integrity.

Offering exposure to enterprise platforms, transformation programmes and both Agile and traditional delivery environments, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges and making a visible impact across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Defining and leading the configuration management strategy, governance framework, and operating model to ensure controlled, compliant, and effective configuration delivery at scale.
  • Managing and optimising the end-to-end configuration lifecycle, including change intake, impact assessment, prioritisation, testing, documentation, approval, and release activities.
  • Partnering with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, PMO and third-party vendors to ensure configuration changes are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with organisational standards.
  • Providing leadership and expert guidance on configuration readiness, risk, feasibility, sequencing and implementation approaches across complex change initiatives.
  • Driving continuous improvement by analysing performance metrics, defects and trends to enhance quality, reduce rework and improve system stability.
  • Leading configuration governance, risk management and audit readiness activities, acting as the senior escalation point for configuration-related decisions and exceptions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
