Life on the Team
Logistics and Technical Services is an operational and commercially focused function with customer satisfaction at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with the Sales team, Service Management and Project Practices to meet our customers' expectations.
The operation transacted 2 million items last year and configured 250,000 systems through our Technical Services workshop. We are also the largest reseller of products in the UK.

The Role:
Technical Services is a fast-paced environment delivering a wide variety of customer builds and services every day.
As a Technical Services Supervisor, you'll lead a team within a busy technical operation, ensuring customer commitments, SLAs and quality standards are consistently achieved. You'll coordinate resources, support engineers, monitor workflow and act as a key escalation point for operational issues.
This is a hands-on leadership role. While you'll be responsible for guiding and developing the team, you'll also be willing to get involved in configuration, deployment and testing activities when required.
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in technical services, configuration, deployment, logistics, workshop or engineering environments who are ready to take the next step in their leadership career.

What You'll Do
Day to Day:
- Lead, coach and support Engineers and team members within the Technical Services operation.
- Manage workload, resource allocation and workflow to ensure customer commitments and SLA targets are met.
- Monitor operational performance, escalating risks and resolving issues to minimise service impact.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
- Contribute to hands-on configuration, deployment, testing and troubleshooting activities when required.
- Ensure policies, procedures and audit requirements are followed and maintained.

What You'll Need
Essential:
- Experience working within a fast-paced technical services, deployment, logistics or operational environment.
- Previous supervisory, team leadership or people management experience.
- Strong organisational, planning and workload management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working within SLA-driven environments.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively and perform under pressure.
- Hands-on experience with computer configuration, deployment or related technical activities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable:
- Experience using CCS, WMCS or similar warehouse management systems.
- Experience within IT configuration, deployment or technical services environments.
- Relevant supervisory, leadership or technical qualifications.
Additional Information

- Hours: 37.5 per week - shifts between 7am to 7pm - Monday to Friday
